Hangi Long Lunch Experience with Aotearoa's Hangi Master

Located in Waitākere's subtropical rainforest at the residence of the Hāngi Master, this experience begins with a guided walk through the forest to harvest kai.

You will also help prepare some of the food to go into the hāngi. While it cooks in the ground, enjoy a wine masterclass from Tohu Wines alongside canapés cooked and smoked over the flames, featuring kōura (crayfish), pāua, tītī (muttonbird), kina, and wild venison.

What better way to pass the time than with a guitar sing-along? After two hours, the hāngi is ready to be lifted so you can enjoy the flavours of mother earth.
