To deliver Auckland Feast and the services connected to it, we need to collect some personal information. Personal information means information that can identify you. WHO WE ARE
Auckland Feast is produced by Lemongrass Productions, which also produces Winetopia, The Auckland Travel Show. Where this policy refers to "we" or "us", it means Lemongrass Productions.
What we collect
When you subscribe to updates, we collect your name and email address.
When you register a restaurant or venue with us, we collect your name, role, email address and phone number, along with information about your business including venue name, address, contact details, menu and offer information, images, and any other content you choose to submit. Partnership enquiries are similar, and we also collect your organisation name and the content of your enquiry.
When you purchase tickets, we collect your name, email address, phone number and billing details. Payments are processed by our ticketing provider, and your card details are not stored by us. Where an event has age-restricted elements, we may need to sight identification at the door to confirm you are over 18, and we do not retain a copy.
Please do not give us personal information about another person unless they have authorised you to do so.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit. This may include your device and operating system, browser type, IP address and approximate location, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how long you spend on each page.
How we use your information
We use your information to deliver Auckland Feast, respond to your enquiry, and assess and process restaurant and partner registrations. We publish participating venue and event information on our website and in festival materials, and we use your details to sell and fulfil tickets and to provide event information to ticket holders.
Where you have asked to hear from us, we use your contact details to send updates, offers and news about the festival. We also use information about how our website is used to improve it, to measure and improve our advertising, and to meet our legal obligations.
If you register a restaurant or venue, the business information you supply is intended for publication. We will confirm your listing with you before it goes live.
Our other events
Auckland Feast is one of several events produced by Lemongrass Productions If you have asked to hear from us, we may occasionally let you know about our other food, wine and travel events where we think they will interest you.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time without affecting any tickets or registrations you already hold.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies, which are small text files stored by your browser. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences, and give us information about how the site is used.
We also use the Meta Pixel, which allows us to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant advertising to people who have visited our site. Who we share your information with
We share personal information with service providers who help us run the festival. These include our website, form, email marketing, ticketing, payment and analytics providers, and our advertising platforms.
We may share information with festival partners and sponsors where you have specifically asked us to, for example by entering a promotion or requesting contact from a partner. We will make it clear at the point of collection when this applies.

Storage and overseas providers
Your information is stored on secure cloud servers. Several of our providers are based outside New Zealand, including in the United States and Europe, which means your information may be stored or processed overseas. We only work with providers that we believe offer comparable protections to those required in New Zealand.
We take all reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure.
Your rights
